I forgot to post about this, having guests in the house took me off track for a little while, but now that I'm thinking about it I want to share with you the cutest gift ever!...
This year for my birthday Dan got me a star!
Yeah - a Star!
These is one of those things that I always wanted but never was gonna say anything, ykwIm? It's not fun if you ask for it?! I think it's super romantic too! He read this beautiful poem before he gave it to me, while he was reading I was wondering "hu - lots os love, star and my name in this poem - wonder what he is up to" and sure enough! A star registry!
So - somewhere up in the sky there's a star with my name! =) *so Cool*
A blog you can read up stories about the G. Family around the 513
- Brazil or
somewhere in between *Connect here with me -or- whatever is important in our lives!
If nothing else, you'll get a few good laughs out of my English!...

I'm starting to wonder...
Dan is the man of my life - like every other couple we do have our hard times but the way we work them out are just awesome. I always was sure in my heart that we were meant to be together!
It is like beyond our love!
The way we met and how everything worked out for us to be together I have no doubt that we were supposed to be together and God made it that way - special and blessed!
But lately I been wondering - how can we be a couple???
I mean its freaking 60 degrees in the house (I bet is even colder upstairs) and I have a comforter and all and he has a freaking fan into his face!!! - That of course passes him and get into me!!!
How can we sleep in the same bed!!!??? =(
I wanna cuddle and hug and get warm (not just for the first 5 minutes after we are in bed) but the whole night!!!
Maybe he did all these past 7 years and I never was bothered about or perhaps he only did on warmer days... I don't know! All I know is that I need to talk to him about this soon... we need to work this one out!

Finally back
Each day life goes a little back to “normal”. We are getting more used to having Noah around (Did we ever not have him?) and slowly we are getting to know how our new routine is going to be. I have lots of other thinks “more important” to do than post here but somehow this relaxes me… So I’ll take the time to do it since I got a few minutes!
I have so much to catch on, it will take me a few days to get there and I’ll post here as I remember. I want to start thanking everyone for all the help! (Believe me or not, this past Sunday was the first time we cooked dinner, since the baby was born we have had kind friends who brought us meals or came over and cooked for us) Tati, Beth Ann (woman, you are awesome!), Connie, Jessica, Dani, Shannon, Priscilla, Amy, Frances, Cindy, Mae, Lisa (if I forgot your name, PLEASE bare with me, It doesn’t mean what you did wasn’t appreciated is just that I’m still running slow) - THANKS!
A few things I can think of at this time:
* I pumped – Dan offered for me to go take a longer nap – I fed him, then he would feed the baby my milk in a bottle (I could really use a 4 hour nap!) and he would wake me up for the feeding after that. Guess what? Noah did NOT take a bottle! Dan tried 3 diferent nipples and NOTHING! We won’t take a pacifier and he won’t take a bottle as either! I’m *SO* tired! I need to sleep a little!!!!
* Benji is doing so much better with Noah, the thing is now he wants to hold him all the time – problem is he is not very delicate (not that I expected a 18 mo. old to be) but… ya know!
The other day he made it *very* clear for everyone to hear “Maaaaamy,I want food!” He is talking more each day. Quite funny! I’m trying to get my camera out as much as I can.
* Elan came over to visit for 4 days, if flew by. Benji really enjoys his company!
We got a pass to the Children’s museum and went over there last Saturday, the 4 of us, Mike & Kristy (very nice girl – perky perky) and Elan. I don’t think Benji enjoyed as much I thought he would – but again he was having a horrible day!
* Dan hasn’t missed any Bengals game yet. I’m glad I got the season tickets this year even thou we had decided we wouldn’t do it, they have a nice groups for the past few years and he enjoys it so much. The Bengals won the past game again, CP played very well after surgery. They are doing pretty good. Preseason is over; it’ll get more interesting now! I hate Chad Johnson’s new hair! =oP
* Jessica came over this week for the day – those days are much easier as Benji settles with her around. He needs less attention from me when she is around. Last night I went out by myself for the first time and took Benji. It was awesome to spend some quality time with him. I really need to remember that, we need our time. Benji & mommy.

Pathetically long non-blogging period, I know…
Finally some time to sit and blog!
-Man, let me tell you, I don’t see the end of my housework! After a day of much work and A LOT done I few like I still have 4 times more to be done! Is that possible? =oPPP
Going back to bloging… I don’t like when it takes me so long to blog because I always forget about something important but the reality is that I just won’t have as much free time anymore. The kids are growing so fast, their schedule is getting to be fill up and between driving them places, getting their activities done and keeping up with the house there’s no time left for the computer! (No! I’m not ok taking time of my precious sleep! –lol)
I guess I’m ready for one of those stickers “Soccer mom” on my Mini Van!
On top of it all - all kinds of stuff seemed to be happened, of course more bad and good… and it’s just a little overwhelming. Well – the good news is that most of these things had being resolved – and if not – they shall pass! =)
Robyn is back! She is safe and that is very good news! This was one of the scary things that worried us for about 3 weeks… It seemed pretty long 3 weeks to me – Can’t imagine how it felt for her family! The vigil was beautiful and very touching. We just need to praise the Lord that she is back! *Welcome home Rob! We love you SO much!*
Here some pics from the Vigil
In that same week Dan did something with his foot, couldn’t stand the pain, the Dr. also scared us a bunch. X-rays didn’t show anything broke but the Dr. mentioned about tendons and ligaments and a possible foot surgery! Man – what a week. Dan was in so much pain. I got him a pair of crutches and because of his kidneys he couldn’t take much pain medication.
What’s wrong with his kidneys? We don’t know either, the Drs don’t know. He has done blood work, ultrasounds, many tests and it’s possible that we’ll need to do a biopsy. Nothing was found, no stones, no cancer – nothing (yet). But his protein condition (and it’s worst then 2 yrs ago) so there’s got to be something.
His cholesterol and blood pressure are high and I think this all together has finally hit us bad. I don’t even like thinking about “what if” something happens to him – how hard it’ll be for him, the kids & me. I’m a little freaked out in this department. Or a little more then little.
One of out friends got married a couple weeks ago and the groom’s mother passed away right at the same time of the wedding ceremony (she was at the hospital) so even thou Dan & I had a great night out – T & K didn’t enjoy their wedding day at all!!
-The Same day Si's mom felt down the stairs and broke her face bone in 3 places. Had quite a few stitches and hurt her left arm. No words to describe the bruising and swelling! She is 80 yrs old and this got her hard! She is doing much better now! But poor S had to feal with it all while also coping with the idea of moving to Panama - because her husband just got transfered) and he was there for like 2 weeks while she had to handle it all.
Within this past couple of weeks also:
Our friend C lost his job – because he worked for the government and they cut the money to this department. Another friend of mine was pregnant and just lost the baby, my parents ha a car accident, everyone is fine but the car was total loss!
Shel’s dad was diagnosed with long cancer too.
And I’m sure there are more stuff that I can’t think of right now – what just may be a good thing – because this black cloud around has done enough and it’s time to GO!
SHARE IT OFF! =D
I need to thank God that trough all this I was able to be there for my friends and family and hang on the “good”, always looking forward and having a positive attitude (or at least trying to)! *Thank you!*
In the mist of all this many good things also happened! Stay in touch for a “GN” post!

News
* New blogs - Dan started a blog a couple of weeks ago. I love it!
I loved the idea of a “dad’s blog”. I always love to hear Dan’s opinions, I don’t always agree but he has very good points, a very strong ground and down to earth way of thinking! It’s awesome!
I love to know what he is thinking, about his feelings and view on different occasions.
Also – I started a blog to our BS group. It turned out very cute and practical! It also seems like the girls really embrace the idea and are all for it! =)
* New church - We being going to the church at the Y - Antioch; and we really like it! Most likely we’ll keep on going there even after the moving, we’ll be farer (is that a word?) away but still it’s not a bad drive!

God’s plans are perfect!
Dan’s car broke a couple weeks before I left to Brasil. It was not worth it to fix it so we decided that we were gonna wait until I got back from Brazil to decide what to do - in the mean time Dan was gonna drive the Van.
My friend Connie calls me every other day in Cincinnati, she has also a “calling plan” to Brasil, so she called me here a few times too. She never knew Dan’s car was gonne… Somehow we forgot to talk about that…
One day she calls me here in Brasil… she mentioned she is moving back to Brasil (that made me SO upset) she is such a good friend always there for me…
…we talked for a while and she said: “I praied about my car,it’s broken, I don’t want to fix it, but the Lord said it’s supposed to bless someone… I’m not so such what to do - do you know anyone who needs a car???”
Of course I sais “It’s me” - of course. LOL I asked: “Did u know Dans car broke???”
Anyways… we talked for awhile about it… She gave it to us, Dan sent the car to be fixed. It costed about $800 to get it all fixed up and now we have a 2001 black Stratus that is probably worth more then 3500 bucks!!! =)
Dan drove the car this whole week and said it runs great!!! We are so excited and thankful to the Lord and to Coonie!
- reporting from her side, she called today and said the Lord has being blessing her tremendusly - he actually got some money she wasn’t expecting from like 2 diferent sources and she is also VERY thankful for the work the Lord has being doing in her life!!
Probably by reading this post you can’t imagine howperfect God’s plan is/was. The way everything happened and the ways God works are just amazing!!

I haven’t being this addicted to a TV show in
I screwed up really bad
We get our tickets to Brasil – we leave to Columbus Sunday and Monday to Brasil so here I was happy packing when ….
BLAAAAAHHH!!!! Benjamin’s Brazilian passport is expired!
Man – I felt like an idiot! Dan drove all night to Washington DC in order to be at the embassy 8 am and get Benji’s passport renewed. It was very nice that Mike drove with him - it made me feel more calm the fact he had someone to talk to – share the driving and make him company.
They stopped at our friend sister Marilvia’s house in Maryland for a little nap & shower… They made back around midnight.
We still don’t have the new passport – it should come in the mail within the next 24 hours. I guess I’ll keep on packing!!
It was a long long past 48 hours for all of us

We are SO under the weather…!
Man, I hate being sick!
We were in bed the past 3 days – Dan & I with freaking strap!
That is the nastiest thing an adult can have! I can’t remember when was the last time I felt this way! I thought it was never gonna end! Amy drove me to the Dr because I was so “passing out” and she took care of me, took me to pharmacy, and her mom sent us food. She was incredible! Dani too took Benjamin for the day on my worst day so Dan & I could rest! It’s good to have friends like family! Thanks so much girls!!! =)
LOST
I talked to Angela last week about TV shows and she mentioned about Lost – it got me curious so Dan & I decided to give it a try…
Within 3 days we were done with season 1 – We watched over 1000 minutes of TV (Our wuote for the whole year - lol)
Within 3 days we were done with season 1 – We watched over 1000 minutes of TV (Our wuote for the whole year - lol)
Everytime an episode would end Benjamin ran out to us and said :Yeahhh! It’s over!
Then a new one would start and he shouted : Oh noooooo another one!!! LOL
Poor kids! So we are gonna give it a break before starting season 2 (Even thou we are dieing to see) but the kids need family time!
So we had a date…
After ages without going out alone yesterday Mie & Kristen came over to watch the boys so Dan & I could go out alone.
Man! Isn’t that good!?
To know that they are with family is like if they were with Dani or Tati. We really don’t get to relax if they are with a baby sitter!! I’m SO ready to do this in a regular basis! And I absolutelly love that my kids are bonding more and more with family!
We had a nice dinner, and had all kinds of time to talk! And apparently the boys did very good with M + K. =)Thanks again guys!
We got a new mattress!!! FREE!
Dan was always complaining that out mattress sucked that it was falling a part blah blah blah…
He always asked me to call the co. because it had a 10 yrs warranty. I never did… so times goes by and he called. They came out to measure our mattress and let me tell ya: When I took the mattress cover/pad out I was choked! Our mattress really was falling a part!!! The guys measured and got back with us a few days later, the result was that we were approved for a replacement.
Not just that but they didn’t make our mattress anymore (It was only 3 yrs old) so they gave us an upgrade. It was originally $600 and we paid $400 for our mattress on sale and we just got this new one AWESOME $1220 worth for FREE and free delivery and everything!!!
How cool was that???

Not just that but they didn’t make our mattress anymore (It was only 3 yrs old) so they gave us an upgrade. It was originally $600 and we paid $400 for our mattress on sale and we just got this new one AWESOME $1220 worth for FREE and free delivery and everything!!!
How cool was that???
Making a trend as usual

Ahhhh, the smooth feeling of a bald head. Some men are (literally) born to have one. Here’s a look at some leading guys who prove that losing your hair doesn’t have to mean losing your sex appeal. In fact, it just may give you that much more …

I find it funny!!!
You may not but I do.
I won’t probably be able to describe it in a funny way anyways but I still crack up when I think about it!
I had a teacher many years ago that had a “fetish” (is that right?) with woman feet, I remember a long long time ago one day I was wearing sandals and he said “One day I’m gonna kiss your feet”. Also I remember him always with pictures of man kissing woman’s feet – nothing like pornographic but also not “polite” pictures…
Anyways – it’s being like 10 years or more since I saw him and we just get to talk again thru sites like myspace/orkut kind of thing.
So after he sent a couple e-mails one of them came with 2 pictures attached with man kissing woman’s feet and some sort of coments about mine.
One night I was sleeping and Dan woke me up – we talked about it and everything was fine, long story short – Dan asked “May I contact him?” And I said “sure!”
And this was basically Dan’s hilarious e-mails to the guy:
“I don’t appreciate that you send this pictures to my wife. It’s all good with me that you like feet – but you probably won’t like mine when I stick them up in your ASS”
lol – I loved it! It was so creative! lol lol lol!

Little update
We made to the Cobblestone church yesterday. I really enjoyed it. It feels a lot like what I was looking for except that I like opening the bible for reading (however it may happen another days and or that’s why we have small groups) We’ll see next Sunday if Dan is gonna go again!
Dan and I got a “shot” of O2 Sunday (www.o2fresh.com), at first I didn’t think much about it but Monday I realized we would NOT have had accomplished as much as we did Sunday otherwise. I just want one of those machines for me – here at the house. For ANY time – it would be great uh?
Daddy stayed at home today and that was a treat! =)
It’s amazing how much the boys love spending time with him –They are all about Dad
Noah will literally “throw” himself to daddy anytime he is around!
We had lunch with Mike and Kristin and Kristin gave Ben a HUGE box of children books. There were over 50 of them! They were pretty cool and in great shape too. There were Dinosaurs, Dr. Seuss, Blue’s Clues, Fishes, Elmo, a very cool Adventure Bible and lots more! Thanks SO SO much Kristin! We are so happy you thought about us! =)
Benji loooves books and I’m sure they will be well used!
