It’s being a long time; I know!
I just can’t get organized to have time for “extras” Even at work I being busy.
And believe me – work with Benjamin is not easy as used to… He knows the front door takes him outside and that’s what he wants to do 24/7 if possible – play outside! I think it’s great I just don’t want to be outside all day!!! TV won’t hold him back, he doesn’t care for it! And that’s a good thing, I believe. He loves playing w/ friends too but I don’t have the energy to do something EVERYDAY…. This baby is really sucking life out of me! I was never this tired during Benjamin’s pregnancy.
Never loved more having a short hair than now – no work! =)
Benjamin is trying to talk a lots, not using his signs anymore, he prefers to speak up! The problem is trying to distinguish his works… Besides mama and dada everything else sounds like “Moh” to me!
This would be a good name for the baby because Benji will be able to say it for sure! ~ “MOH”
Than he has long sentences… like a real conversation but still I can’t understand.
The other day was the funniest – I was doing something in the kitchen, the phone rang. But it rang only once, so I didn’t pick it up. About 20 minutes go by and Benjamin all this time is walking around the house with the phone on his ears, and from time to time he would say something, then he would be quiet for a minute – just like in a conversation! Then all the sudden I hear someone in the phone – I picked it up from his hands and Dan was on the line! Dan said “Benjamin and I have being talking for about 25 minutes now… We had a very good conversation” *HILARIUS!*
Always loving, he likes to give hugs & kisses; between Dan and me we get a good dozen before he gets tired. The days we don’t go out I like to sit down with him to play – I can tell he misses someone to play with him! He is very social – maybe even too much.
Now he’s also enjoying my belly… We always tell him there’s a baby there ~it’s his brother (I don’t think he understands). The fact my belly it’s so round (Oh my shoes! I’m bigger then I was at 7 mos. w/ Benjamin – I’m REALLY round) its fun for him. He pets it like if it was a ball and kisses and tries to bite it… and hugs. It’s so delicious… and that’s when I don’t mind being so big and round!
And forget all that when we need to get in the car! Used to be really easy going, not anymore! He just wants to run run run and being locked in the car seat it’s NO FUN!
A bunch of Brazilians, 30 or so came from Washington, Chicago & Indianapolis to Mara’s house this past weekend so we went over for Brazilian BBQ and also for a “reuniao familiar” that was very good!
We being cooking lots of Brazilian meals, if not at home with our friends and more we make it more I want it! I miss home…
I’m trying to keep track of Benji’s Portuguese was well – but does it good. Most of things he understands in both languages – like: Are you hungry? Would you like some water? Let’s go outside (yes, he really know that one) where is the ball??? Etc…
He’s sleeping almost every night on his big boy bed – he loves it! Danny and I are pretty ok with the family bed – but he likes his spaces! Always asks to go to his new room (I’ll try to post pictures of his new room – it’s too cool!) …
