quick note

because as usual I have no time to write =oP

I do want to remember this one small talk between Noah and I:

Me: Noah - please hon just get your silverwear and sit down
to eat before your food gets too cold

Noah: I don't want to eat with silverwear - I want to eat with a spoon!
 =oP
______________
In another totally OOT note:

Biggs had triple coupon this week! I wasn't too bad!
Total bill was $98
Paid:  $53

Savings of 47%
Could of done much better but ended up getting quite a few items without coupons! I did have a ton of coupons for granola bars (1 bar) for $0,50 so all the ones cheaper then 1,50 were free! =)))

In a few words

Friday: Basically played with kids all day evening: Scrapbooking meeting was nice - fun and very productive - I’ll post pictures of my work when i get a chance! It was a little later then I wanted - people left here 2 am but still I can’t wait for the next meeting! =) We had a few snacks, nice wine and lots of good conversation!

Saturday Melissa and Rick brought Noah’s new bed over and btw - HE LOVES IT! He had slept so good on it! ) And so have I) YES!
Played with kids
Afternoon we stopped by Katie’s to wish a happy birthday and check up beautiful Pearl and handsome Summit - after we went to Frances for a nice cookout wuth K’s family too.

Sunday - We went to Dr. Bills church with Kip, Dani and the Kids - had lunch with them at Skyline (was fun or what?)

Afternoon I watched “Kitchen’s nightmares” - awesome show! I really like Chef Ramsay - played with kids some more and got this week’s grocery done.

Good sale: Fresh Salmon $8,99 for $2,99/pound at Kroger

Eventually the Sun will have to Shine

We went up to Findlay Market Sunday (www.findlaymarket.org) - I have forgotten how good that place is!!! We got a bunch of produce for very little money like:

3 Avocados for $1
2 boxes of Raspberries for $1
Pineapple $1/each
Ground Turkey $1.86/lb (very lean too)
A whole box of strawberries for like $3!!!

The Oranges and Pears were also pretty good price and even the items that were the same price as the grocery like Bananas, Zucchinis and some other stuff looked much better then the organic produce at Kroger!

That makes me anxious for the Lebanon Farmer’s Market to open!

For dinner Dan cooked a delicious fresh Tilapia on a wine sauce, veggies, and rice. We enjoyed that awesome meal with some good wine (forget about dieting at this point!) and some awesome strawberries for desert!
All we needed to end the perfect night was to smoke a cigar and get the kids to bed asap! Lol
And then…
We started the crazy week

– Benji barfing at the Child Watch at the Y - we had NO extra clothes so we weared Noah’s
– Because of that I never really focused on our P.oBox meeting
– I burned a big batch of beans I was cooking…
– And bla bla bla!

Let’s just concentrate that this week WILL BE GOOD! =)

Benji is 2!!!

Today is Benji’s birthday! He is 2! - Amazinly talking yesterday he turned to me and said: “Moooomy, I need help with the stool” Too cute!

Early in the morning Pupy (This is Daniela’s new nick name) and I went to the mothers exchange sale in West Chester – I’m so proud of myself, with “only” $23 (right Pupy?) I got:

1 Pair of pants for Benji
1 Pair of pants for Noah
4 Spring/Fall shirts for Benji
A cool set of coaster you can put pictures on
A Leap Frog book thing with two books (ABC + Thomas)
A Leap Frog Fridge ABC for letters and words
1 Pair of Soft Sole Shoes for Noah
1 Playskool toy that Benji loves it. He enjoyed all his new toys – played all day!

It was very worth it going – I can’t wait for the next ones…

Dr. P and Hunter came over for a little while then Hunter and Dan left to the game right after lunch. I had an overdose of TV, never changed the channel because TBS had some of my favorite movies in a row: A walk to remember, followed by 10 things I hate about you followed by Miss Congeniality and since I basically know EVERY sentence of those movies I could just let it play in the background while the boys and me basically just set down and played around the living room. -Later was nice to have papa back home!!

Tomorrow we’ll have cake and sing Benji Happy Birthday (Again!)

A sale, a game and a date

Old friends!!! Wild Oats has all their body care products 25% off!!! I got Noah some tie-dye socks (100% organic, dye free!!) for a very special price.

The boys really enjoy seeing the snow for the first time. They played outside for hours. Even with all the snow, in the afternoon we drove to the Cintas Xavier Stadium to watch a basketball game. Tim, Shannon and the girls were there too!!! The place was kinda empty, but it was really fun, we all had a really good time.

Victor, William and Augusto got along pretty well with Shelly’s boys. It was so cute to hear Jack asking to play with the “buzz-e-llians” and asking them to speak “porto Rican” – Portuguese! Hahaha

Dan and I went out for dinner a couple of nights ago, on a date! We went to this really good thai place, we had a nice chance to talk and just enjoy our time without the kids.

We went to visit Union Terminal yesterday. I really wanted to visit the Titanic exhibit, but we ran out of time. It was so freaking cold that after that we drove around Cincinnati for a little bit. I hope to go there next week when things get calmer around here.

Me, my aunt and Claudia went to Old Navy today. All clearance items were extra 50% off. I’m so freaking fat, so I didn’t get a chance to get much stuff, but they had a good time.
