Touch screen is the topic here lately
I have not bloged forever, since facebook came along I guess!
I write things down on there and they never make it to the blog but I can't do that! After all this blog is also a memory book for the boys! Their milestones - their achievements...
So I must get back to it cause I'm sure missing out in some good ones!
They being saying the funniest things EVER and we being engaging into the coolest and deep)conversations!
Of course now I won't remember any of them! LOL but I'm gonna post a few from the past few weeks from facebook and from now on they will make it here, not there! =))
Last night he said: "Mom - the Goovle phone is the best - its a touch screen and you don't even have to plug it in! That is the one you and dad should get it - it's the best!"
He insisted and got made at me - it was not Google - it was GOO VLE! haha
I don't know where he learn those things - I mean - the Google phone has a commercial on TV so that doesn't surprise me much but a couple weeks before this commercial even came out was putting an address on my GPS and Benji said "Mom - that thing you have on your hand doesn't have any buttons - you touch the screen just like the i-phone!" I was like Do you know what an i-phone is?
And he answered: "Yes I do it's an "I" phone! Lots of people have it (he named a few) and you want one too, don't you?" =oPP
I mean - I don't talk about phone with him or even in front of him!
I guess he is way more tuned then I think!!!!
I write things down on there and they never make it to the blog but I can't do that! After all this blog is also a memory book for the boys! Their milestones - their achievements...

We have a new family blog!
If you being reading my "BEM" Blog you know that from the past 4 years I used blog.com 3.5 I being talking about changing! And I never had time to work on a new blog, transfer is all, set a page the way I would like to and also refuse to pay someone to do so.
I have many many friends that complain about blog.com - they can't leave comments, the page doesn't open and so forth... I have a hard time with them as well.
So I just decided
- since we are going to Brasil in 2 weeks and many people have asked the blog address to keep up with the news from down south....
to just to this blog where things seems to flow better and give it a shot! =D
I'll try to keep up with pictures while we are in Brasil and posting as much as I can (I sure will have more free time down there with so many hands to help with the boys)
I'll also try posting in English/Portuguese as much as can. I know everyone was loving it when I was able to keep that up, but I'll do my best! =)
Thanks for stoping by! Thanks for reading! I do write to myself - not just as a joy but also as I journal type of thing - so I can always go back and remember when the kids did this n that but also I do write for you! =D

Pathetically long non-blogging period, I know…
Finally some time to sit and blog!
-Man, let me tell you, I don’t see the end of my housework! After a day of much work and A LOT done I few like I still have 4 times more to be done! Is that possible? =oPPP
Going back to bloging… I don’t like when it takes me so long to blog because I always forget about something important but the reality is that I just won’t have as much free time anymore. The kids are growing so fast, their schedule is getting to be fill up and between driving them places, getting their activities done and keeping up with the house there’s no time left for the computer! (No! I’m not ok taking time of my precious sleep! –lol)
I guess I’m ready for one of those stickers “Soccer mom” on my Mini Van!
On top of it all - all kinds of stuff seemed to be happened, of course more bad and good… and it’s just a little overwhelming. Well – the good news is that most of these things had being resolved – and if not – they shall pass! =)
Robyn is back! She is safe and that is very good news! This was one of the scary things that worried us for about 3 weeks… It seemed pretty long 3 weeks to me – Can’t imagine how it felt for her family! The vigil was beautiful and very touching. We just need to praise the Lord that she is back! *Welcome home Rob! We love you SO much!*

In that same week Dan did something with his foot, couldn’t stand the pain, the Dr. also scared us a bunch. X-rays didn’t show anything broke but the Dr. mentioned about tendons and ligaments and a possible foot surgery! Man – what a week. Dan was in so much pain. I got him a pair of crutches and because of his kidneys he couldn’t take much pain medication.
What’s wrong with his kidneys? We don’t know either, the Drs don’t know. He has done blood work, ultrasounds, many tests and it’s possible that we’ll need to do a biopsy. Nothing was found, no stones, no cancer – nothing (yet). But his protein condition (and it’s worst then 2 yrs ago) so there’s got to be something.
His cholesterol and blood pressure are high and I think this all together has finally hit us bad. I don’t even like thinking about “what if” something happens to him – how hard it’ll be for him, the kids & me. I’m a little freaked out in this department. Or a little more then little.
One of out friends got married a couple weeks ago and the groom’s mother passed away right at the same time of the wedding ceremony (she was at the hospital) so even thou Dan & I had a great night out – T & K didn’t enjoy their wedding day at all!!
-The Same day Si's mom felt down the stairs and broke her face bone in 3 places. Had quite a few stitches and hurt her left arm. No words to describe the bruising and swelling! She is 80 yrs old and this got her hard! She is doing much better now! But poor S had to feal with it all while also coping with the idea of moving to Panama - because her husband just got transfered) and he was there for like 2 weeks while she had to handle it all.
Within this past couple of weeks also:
Our friend C lost his job – because he worked for the government and they cut the money to this department. Another friend of mine was pregnant and just lost the baby, my parents ha a car accident, everyone is fine but the car was total loss!
Shel’s dad was diagnosed with long cancer too.
And I’m sure there are more stuff that I can’t think of right now – what just may be a good thing – because this black cloud around has done enough and it’s time to GO!

I need to thank God that trough all this I was able to be there for my friends and family and hang on the “good”, always looking forward and having a positive attitude (or at least trying to)! *Thank you!*

* New blogs - Dan started a blog a couple of weeks ago. I love it!
I loved the idea of a “dad’s blog”. I always love to hear Dan’s opinions, I don’t always agree but he has very good points, a very strong ground and down to earth way of thinking! It’s awesome!
I love to know what he is thinking, about his feelings and view on different occasions.
Also – I started a blog to our BS group. It turned out very cute and practical! It also seems like the girls really embrace the idea and are all for it! =)
* New church - We being going to the church at the Y - Antioch; and we really like it! Most likely we’ll keep on going there even after the moving, we’ll be farer (is that a word?) away but still it’s not a bad drive!

When I started my blog I asked Dan if I should do it in Portuguese or English, and he said he preffered in English so he could read it too… but I still have several friends who will stop by and just look at pictures because they can’t read in English!
So… in order to make everyone happy I’ll double post everything, Portuguese & English.

I wish I could make it organized and pretty… but oh well!
This is a free site host that let me just write down things that being going on in our lives and I’m satisfied with that. If I need to remember something we did, or last time the kids got sick I can just do a lil search and that is the purpose of it: for me to keep record of things that are important to me!!!

Sunday Sunday... tada ta da da so good to me... ta da - da da daaaa
I had to work today, but it’s okay because I think it’s only one more Sunday…
Dan & Benjamin went to Nicole’s house and later I went to meet with them and we stayed for dinner – She cooked delicious blue cheese burgers. Dan helped Greg with his deck. We haven’t done anything else to ours. If it’s not ready by Memorial Day I’m not having a cookout! It’s always so much people over and it’s hot to be everyone inside!
Benjamin is getting so out of control. Playing like boyish stuff – don’t take it wrong, I like it, but he’s like those boys you see on commercials or movies – always playing dangerous! You can’t take your eyes off of him for a minute and BAM He’ll be doing something scary! He has no fear whatsoever! We were at the YMCA at the swimming pool and here goes Benjamin under the water… he would just walk right into it! No fear! I think it’s good like I said, but still! You think the water in his eyes, ears, nose and mouth would bother him… *NO WAY* Climbing up stuff – that’s old news! He’ll open the fridge door and climb up the shelves at the door to retch for whatever it is that he wants… I would post pictures here if it wasn’t so hard to do it in this blog. But again I don’t feel like paying to blog… so this is what I’ll use.
