Another big first

Benjamin went to the dentist for a cleaning today. A little crying but great for his first time! =)
No cavities or problems! =)
Goodie bag in the end of it and way more excited to brush teeth now! Cool

Nenhuma carie, nenhum problema ate agora! Gracas a Deus!
=) Ele ficou super feliz!

The word today is: SORE

This week I did 2 hours of fencing lesson. It’s being 2 days and I still can’t walk right. Lifting my arms hurts SO bad! (the sword it’s not heavy -we just keep it UP the whole time) -Going up and down the stairs it’s a nightmare – lol
Sill I’m so glad I did and I plan on sticking with it.

It’s a different sport - all about speed, can’t be boring if you are not into it. But I like it!

There are no girls; only me (this week a friend came along). It’s very exciting that I actually got to use the swords, fight and all. I personally thing I did very well for starts.

I did get one in my stomach that got me out of breath! Lol

It’s great exercise… I pain in places of my body I never knew I had!!!!
Can’t wait until next class!!! (I mean, if I can walk by then!)

A weekend of firsts

So, Noah founded outhe can get into the washer… and on top of the over door!!! *Heart attack here* - And to answer your first question after looking at this pic *YES - WE DO HAVE A LOCK ON IT!*
Noah and Thomas had a plesant and CALM (believe me or not) afternoon! =)

Noah first time riding by himself!!! (He has done the Lazy Town helicopter and Scobydoo with us) he loved loved loved - cried because he didn’t want to leave!

Ben enjoy this ride a lot! Him and Isaac went like 7 or 8 times…

And I had a lot of fun “swaping” kids for rides! =) Grace and I did the “Scrambler” and a bunch of other rides i don’t quite remember the names…
Grace, Isaac and I took a nice “shower’ on the kids water ride! =oP

=) Amei! Ri demais, muito divertido!

Isn't this cool???

If you know me you know I’m a breastfeeding advocate 200% -  So I just LOVED this awesome exhibition Get Britain Breastfeeding” that opens this week!
I need to agree with Denise that this is the coolest one:  (definitely going to sidebar! =))  ”Bond with your baby, bond with your man.”

A Catch-All Up Post

I mowed.
Yes, I did…
…and only more than a half away to the yard I found out the there was this little button you push and the mower moves it self – I did NOT have to push the mower up and down BY MYSELF! =oP
Great!
I only have one word to describe what I felt: SORE!

But I do love the weather… We have SO much to do around here, outside of this house and hopefully little by little we’ll finish by the end of the summer! Our main concern now it’s getting the dead sod out of our yard and try to get grass out!

With so much good stuff to do outside (not talking about the work – lol – but the fun) I don’t get extra time to sit here and write… and when I do I ended up reading about this horrible case that happened in Brasil, this girl Isabella, 5 yrs old was strangled by her dad and thrown down the window of the 6th floor of their apartment… just a nasty brutality! WOW, it always overwhelms me so I want to leave the computer…
It’s chocking and “everywhere” – like when the Marcus Fisel deal was happening here. Every site, on TV 24/7 – that’s all they talk about! It’s being almost 2 months and they still haven’t being able to arrest the dad and stepmother until like yesterday or something…
But let’s just drop that one and talk about good thing? Yeap – that!

We done so many fun things this past week, we got to go to the:
* Zoo with K – Benji was running away from the “butter” bees (bumble bees)
* Indoor pool at the Y with Daiane – Noah is not afraid to dive in at all – just loves it! He is basically a fish! =)
* Picnic with the Salty Dawgs… and those girls are always so much fun!
Grace came on our car, in the way to the park she turns and say: "Lilian, you know the park we are going is on Lebanon Road, right?" *LMAO*
* Dinner with the FUNNS families on Saturday. -Dan cooked Chinese again – yuuummie! Kids had fun flying a kite and playing with worms!
* Sunday was Brooke’s birthday! Benji was happy to give her a gift & just couldn’t wait for the cake! =)
I got too many pictures so check out this slide show:

…and “BOOM”!!! A whole week has passed! Fun, lots of fun… and I’m beat! =)
but I guess this cold weather is gonna keep us inside for a couple of days, it should be enough to rest and catch up with cleaning and laundry! =)

Totally OT: Vanessa dropped out from Hell's Kitchen, I still can't believe it! Now I like Ben (Even though Cheff doesn't) and on the girls team it's Cristina. I would love to see Jen keeping up with the good work, it's just her attitude that bothers me... anyways...

I’ll finish this post with this beautiful sentence I read at Vinnie’s blog:
“Don’t share your dreams with people, they may take them from you…
… tell them to God, after all He IS the only one that can make them come true!”

Beautiful hu?
XOXO

Traduzindo… eu to QUEBRADA! Dor nas costas eh soh apelido! =(

Viram todas as fotos?

Lindo, nao?
XOXO

When you look at…

…this face does your heart melt away???     -Mine does – but I’m the mom! I know! =)

He has a purple mouth from eating a blueberry muffin…

Noah having his first popsicle of the season * and now everytime he giggles he’ll cover his mouth!

Noah’s first time helping to make muffins * Noah & Thomas hugging at the pool

So - I got scared this week, but just a little…
Both of my kids, blessings, healthy perfect boys. Imagine how I worried when I heard my baby has a speech delay… I first was thinking it was because of the bilingual thing… but he scored low on his “social skills” test too. (Ei. 6 out of 10 – Meaning like 5 and lower can be consider different levels of autism). He can’t do some things a 18 month old should be doing like grabbing things “twirlers” style, using silverware, lil simple stuff like that… and I was always so laid back about them taking their time.
It felt like I was lacking on raising my kids, at first. Now I’m ok, really – I’m…

I just want to make sure we are doing all we can and giving Noah all we can to help him develop at his fullest; on his speed – I don’t want to rush him into anything, but I do want to make sure I do my part!

And Noah has amazingly impressed me this past couple of weeks. New words, new signs, less crying… personally – after this week I don’t even think he has a speech delay… all the sudden he came out with a bunch or words…
We are working with Help Me Grow & MRDD – some awesome services provided by Warren County where the speech therapist/social worker and whatever else he may need will come over to our house and help/teach us what we need to know/do to give Noah a “bust”.
Our next visit is this week… more updates to come! =)

Entao sou suspeita! hehe

Meu filhos sao minhas bencoes de Deus, uns amore, saudaveis, felizes…  e so tenho que agradecer a Deus… mas o Noah me deu um susto esses dias…
Nao falava nada, a pediatra mandou ele fazer fono… ai ai ai…
Fiquei meio nervosa mas logo me acalmei!

Thanks Leslie!!! =)

For the 2 new playsilks! (They were actually worship flags, what makes them even cooler!) - The boys loved it! God Bless You!!!

This was Benji’s old one - A toy well used! =) -Thank you too Kt.

 Legal, nao?!

Got Brasil?

Brazilian – and nobody can deny! =)

Yeap.. there’s Brazilian blood on these boys veins! And I’m SO proud of it! =)
Benji and his “embaixadinhas” (not sure how they are called in English – anyone??)
His got something with the ball, not just necessary soccer… any sport really!

And Noah – Because to eat Mango you GOT to use your hands! You GOT to get messy! =)

Lots os picture posts latelly hu? I know, I know… but believe me - it shall pass! =)
Brasileiros e ninguem pode negar, ne?
Olha so essas fotos e me digam se nao tem sangue de brasileiro nesses meninos???

O Benjamin so na embaixadinha!
