You would…

Today is the one-day I just didn’t do anything. I just sat all day and play with the children – I’m writing this post – I took time to get on with everyone else – called my friends, read their blogs, sent out late thank you notes and replied e-mails from weeks ago.

I found out Vinicius have a blog! How coo is that? Also another 2 friends of friends that I have met before and got back in touch with! And that was pretty cool.

I also need to start replying to my comments – right? I’ll get there guys.. I’ll! Just e-mail works much better for me but from now on I’ll answer comments right on the page.
I have soooooooooo much to blog about the trip but I need all kinds of time to do that, so I’ll sometime during the week - for a sumary: It was AWESOME!

Frances drove me nuts this past weekend – I know now that we cannot count on Dan’s family – however again I’m thankful for my friends!!!

I said something to her and she (full of guilty) understood something else. It’ll take a long time for me to want to see her again – I’m praying a lot about it – I can’t be so mad at her because I can’t express myself very good in English (and she MUST have hearing problems + English as well) but I’m just so PO!

Sorry – but she is a little off here (and most of the other times too)

God is good - I’m over it but she is crazy! If you know her you would agree with me!
In the other hand - I have had met Katia a while ago and we always talk in events – who would thing we would turn out to be good friends but I being enjoying very much the time I spent with her – sh cheers me up a lots! I need that

Despite all that I miss Tati a lots – her calls every morning – I complain about it when she is around – but I got to tell ya; we are like sisters.

Party of Five

I’m reading about nursing multiples and being getting a chance to put onto practice while Braylon is with me. I could not picture myself as a mother of 5. Two days a week is not that hard but never stop 24/7, 7 days a week – I wonder how other woman do that.

In the mist of all this I’m trying not to ignore Benji’s new words that are popping out every day; “See Mommy? See???”

Everything he touches, everything he plays with or likes he’ll ask us : “See, that?” And you better answer or he won’t stop saying.

Music makes us happy!

I notice that we keep the TV on most of the day just so we have something in the background (is that right? Background?) Anyways… so it’s on and we ended up watching things that we don’t even enjoy it just because it’s there.
So now during the day I only have a radio on – Our TV is only allowed to be turned on 30 minutes every morning, 30 in the afternoon - some special ocasion and after dinner.
We are happy singing all day, playing and getting things done! Benji and Noah just love it! =)
Specially when it’s some good WRSP!!!

Here I go run to call poison control!

Benji got a hold of a Lysol spray bottle today, turned towards his face and pulled the trigger: STRIKE! Right into his right eye!!!!

Here I go run to call poison control! Lots of tears and a guilt mama – really it was a 2 seconds thing! – I know I know 1 second is more ten enough!

30 minutes later everything seems to be fine.

I’m trying to organize our basement so he’ll be able to enjoy the space, I took his bike and his tricycle downstairs (really wants to pedal his tricycle) and we are looking for a train table to put downstairs too. We got some nice mats for half of it and the other half I’m thinking about drawing a track on the floor for him to ride on!

Soon to be crawling

Noah really wants to go around, he gets up on his hands & knees; rocks back & forth then falls on his stomach to reach for whatever he has his eyes on!

Today we went to Costco and got that delicious Mango Salsa, Guacamole and Tortilla Chips (Gosh I ate the whole thing within 1 hour), I was sitting in the couch with a bag of chips and a bowl with some Salsa and Guaca, I went to the laundry room and put some clothing in the dryer, started another load and when I got back this is what I see:

Noah dragged himself maybe about 2 feet to reach the bag, tipped it, got a tortilla and ate (more then a half away!)

No, I didn’t get a picture! I just rushed to get that away from him (he cried so upset) because it’s hard and I got a little scared (How did he reach that so far away??) That rocking back and forth IS taking him places!

Benji is 2!!!

Today is Benji’s birthday! He is 2! - Amazinly talking yesterday he turned to me and said: “Moooomy, I need help with the stool” Too cute!

Early in the morning Pupy (This is Daniela’s new nick name) and I went to the mothers exchange sale in West Chester – I’m so proud of myself, with “only” $23 (right Pupy?) I got:

1 Pair of pants for Benji
1 Pair of pants for Noah
4 Spring/Fall shirts for Benji
A cool set of coaster you can put pictures on
A Leap Frog book thing with two books (ABC + Thomas)
A Leap Frog Fridge ABC for letters and words
1 Pair of Soft Sole Shoes for Noah
1 Playskool toy that Benji loves it. He enjoyed all his new toys – played all day!

It was very worth it going – I can’t wait for the next ones…

Dr. P and Hunter came over for a little while then Hunter and Dan left to the game right after lunch. I had an overdose of TV, never changed the channel because TBS had some of my favorite movies in a row: A walk to remember, followed by 10 things I hate about you followed by Miss Congeniality and since I basically know EVERY sentence of those movies I could just let it play in the background while the boys and me basically just set down and played around the living room. -Later was nice to have papa back home!!

Tomorrow we’ll have cake and sing Benji Happy Birthday (Again!)

Moms out there....

What do you do when your two year old gets frustrated for whatever reason and hits you in the face, over and over again?

ps.: I had bunch of good comments on this post and I lost it when I transferred from blog.com =(

Noah has a tooth!!!

…On his bottom right; I’m not sure how long has being there, I just noticed this morning! You can see the white coming out and it feels really sharp!

Cloth diapers - Why not?

I’m using cloth diapers on Noah and to be very honest – it’s much easier then I expected!

It keeps him dryer then the disposable, its comfortable, never had liking accidents (we always had it thru the night w/ disposables) and it makes me feels better about the doing my part!

Better for my son, better to the earth and better to my pocket! So why not?
